Intensified treatment (to solidify remission)
Agents with varying mechanisms of action, such as:
- Mercaptopurine
- Vincristine
- PEG-Asparaginase
- Further Intrathecal Methotrexate
Cyclophosphamide and ara-C (Cytarabine) may be added during consolidation for higher risk ALL (e.g. T-ALL, high-risk precursor B-ALL).
Goal is to eradicate most of remaining leukemia.
