Nutritional Complications
Most patients are severely catabolic in the setting of poor oral intake.
Most patients require total parenteral nutrition.
Some patients may continue enteral feeds with a nasogastric tube.
Very few are able to eat properly to maintain their nutrition through the entire transplant process.
